    Es un bon hotel qualitat-preu, les habitacions son grans I netes, el fet de tenir tovalloles I paper hygienic es un gran luxe. La gent es amable I si et trobes a TiKa es una gran font d' informacio. L' esmorzar val molt la pena, concretament: Pankake banana I el Fruit and iogurt. Ahh!! Namaste.

    Nice hotel with clean rooms. Nice and helpful team at the reception (thank Paras for your help) with money change, taxi, safe deposit and all you need. The Nepali and Indian food is tasty. Quiet and peaceful hotel but not too far from down town and it's easy to take a taxi to go outside. Interesting historical patrimony in Kathmandu like Pashupatinath, Swayambunath and Bakhtapur…

    We had wonder time here. The garden and location is the supper. Rooms are very clean and big with huge balcony. Everything is at the hotel such as internet ( Wi-Fi), travel desk, Laundry, ect. Thamel is just 4 minutes walk from here. The bus stand for pokhara is so close and easy to get in to it. Overall we love this hotel and the best hotel in Nepal during our stay.

    The first good thing about the hotel is that they are picking you up at the airport with a friendly attitude and it counts when you arrive at Kathmandu for the first time. They are always trying to do their best to serves you including giving you tricks about local sightseeing.
    They do have one guide, Tika, you will be lucky if you meet him because he will be a great support to you as he has been for me. The hotel is offering interesting tours to discover the valley such the one I have done to Chitwan which was by the way an incredible experience.
    You could be reluctant at the beginning by this idea of packaging tours but they are definitely a good way to discover a piece of Nepal if you want to be completely taken in charge by a great staff.
    It has been an amazing trip (heritage, wildlife wonders discoveries) and the Blue Horizon Hotel undoubtedly contributed to that.

    This place is heaven on earth. Just outside busy Thamel, we found rest and peace in Blue Horizon. Four times we arrived here during our trip, so we can call this place our home away from home. The lobby is the best place to get info about anything: the nearest pharmacy, price for a taxi, how to change money,... I have to mention your food is terrific, especially the pancakes. Best I have had in Nepal.

    We got a discount for having a room with a broken door, but the next day they replaced the door with a new one – yet the discount remained. We also really enjoyed the food. In the evenings, if the weather was good we ate in the garden with candlelight. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast, and we couldn’t find a restaurant that matched the quality of food at the price they offered. The staffs were really friendly, and would politely ask how we enjoyed each day in Kathmandu. The room was cleaned daily. We also liked how the hotel was secluded enough from the main roads so as to keep it nice and quiet. The only problem was the power cuts (these happen everywhere), but that kept us enjoying our surroundings and helped us truly relax. We will fondly tell about this place to all our friends and relatives.

    A basic hotel with entertaining staff. Almost everything is possible here. Sometime if you really need internet they will give you their own Lap top if other computers are busy. They also have Wi-Fi which is free and strong network even in your room. Sitting and having breakfast in the garden, chatting and making jokes makes your stay as feeling home. Price quality excellent! I will come back here next time with the children.

    I want to say thank you to the management of Hotel blue horizon for making my stay special. I had very nice time there. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Roof top has nice views surroundings and beautiful flowers on. The Garden is very beautiful and enjoyed my stay. I will come back with my mother and stay with you people.

    I had booked this hotel online and found it very nice. Peace and quiet at night and beautiful garden where tables are set around for drinks and meals. Nice place to hang around. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. I had great food at the hotel. Their location is great within few minutes’ walk to the central of Thamel Street. The best place overall and I will come to stay again with you people. Thank you very much for your wonderful management.

    When I came to Nepal for the first time in 2007 an airport taxi offloaded me at Hotel Blue Horizon. As it proofed later this was a fortunate coincidence. I have returned many more times. Hotel Blue Horizon for me is more like a family than a hotel. As a guest you are treated with respect, interest and always with good humour. The different staff always have a smile for the patrons and try to make every wish possible. I had them organize for me, partly asking in person, partly communicating by email from Europe: local and tourist bus tickets to Besisahar and Jiri, car rides to Sundarijal and Jiri, flight tickets from Lukla to Kathmandu as well as the airport pickups which HBH offers since 2010. I have never been disappointed. Since many individual travellers and trekkers come here before and after their treks it is also a pleasant hangout where much invaluable advice on conditions in the mountains can be found. As the yearly email around Christmas proves Hotel Blue Horizon has managed to put life to the official Nepalese tourism slogan, “Come as a tourist, go as a friend”. I have only once come as a tourist.

    My husband & I keep coming back to Hotel Blue Horizon (HBH) every year because:
    1. The staff of HBH are friendly & helpful;
    2. HBH is in a quiet location; and
    3. HBH is in a convenient location to prepare for trekking & to choose restaurants, cafes, & even language schools nearby.
    This year we stayed in Kathmandu longer than usual (for a month) due to my injury during trekking. I fractured my leg & had a surgery here. Therefore I spent most of the day in the hotel. The attentive & friendly staff supported me during day & night so well that my husband could leave his crutches-bound wife to them & went for the 2nd trekking. It was fortunate for me to have some choices of restaurants & cafes where I can go with crutches, on top of the room service. I found even a language school within a few min walk!
    Due to my injury this year, we are happy & grateful for our choice of the accommodation more than ever.

    夫と私が毎年ホテル ブルー ホライズンに滞在するのは;
    1. スタッフが親切で、
    2. ホテルが静かな場所にあり、
    3. トレッキングの準備はもちろん、外食や買物にも便利な場所にあるからです。
    今年はこの怪我のために、今まで以上にホテル ブルー ホライズンを選んでよかったと痛感した次第です。

    I have stayed at the Blue Horizon several times over the last 5 years and have always found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The food is quite good as well! Room service in the morning is the fastest I have ever seen. Your milk coffee is at your room in about 3 minutes. It’s hard to beat that anywhere. Wi-Fi is reliable even with the frequent power outages, which is nice. Sleeping is quite blissful as well, due to the fact it is on a quiet street with (thankfully) not that many resident dogs or chickens making a ruckus at all hours. 100 meters off of the main street this means fewer cars honking their horns every 3 seconds. All in all this is a great hotel in a great location in Thamel.

    For the duration of my stay, Blue Horizon’s staff was very attentive to all my needs. Making travel and trekking arrangements was simplified when consulting with the Blue Horizon Staff.   I have returned to this hotel on multiple trips and the service and hotel quality have retained a high standard over the course of the last 3 years.  The outside garden serves as a great place to soak up the Kathmandu sunshine while enjoying a cold refreshing beer.

    Generally everything is good. Nice people, good cook and very helpful airport pick up and sightseeing guide. Mr. Tika has made a good arrangement of our walking tour to Nagarkot. I had very nice trekking guide of Advanced Adventures. The garden is beautiful and good seating place. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

    We had a wonderful time at Hotel Blue Horizon. The staff are very open and helpful, both when it comes to small and big questions. My daughter loved being here which made our stay really good. The best thing about the place is the rooftop terrace, which has a wonderful view and sun the whole day. We have spent many hours up there drinking chai and enjoying the view of the mountains surrounding Kathmandu Valley. Furthermore the hotel is hidden away from the noise and busyness of Thamel, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy some time in quietness. We will for sure come back to this hotel, next time we visit Kathmandu.

    I can thoroughly recommend the Hotel Blue Horizon. It offers a very comfortable service at very reasonable price. The staffs are helpful without being intrusive. The garden is a nice place to enjoy your breakfast, Lunch or evening meal. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. It is in a quite location where it is possible to get away from the noise and bustle of Thamel. I would stay here again if I ever returned to Kathmandu.
